Sometime ago, I have used a Google Maps resource to mark my location when I was on a specific ponto to make a pics.

When I'm studing photograph, I always would want know where the photographer was when him took the photo.

For beginners, is very important to know the best point to take a good shot. So, if you can show your location on the photo moment for your friends, make it!

This is a best pratice, and you self can need this information some day.

To use geolocalization within Google Maps, you need have a Google account and access the below URL:

maps.google.com

You will see the "My Maps" option on top menu. When you click in this option, you will could create your locations to show a specific postion.

After this, you can define if your information is public or not. You can also define a title for your point and take a specific position for a map point using a marker. After then, you can save your map, and done!
